Today we’re starting a brand-new chapter in our study of the past tense: we’re moving on to the second binyan — piel.

We’ll begin with the first and most regular group: piel shlemim. These are some of the most useful and familiar verbs in modern Hebrew — you probably already know a few of them!

In this lesson, we’ll learn how to spot piel verbs, how they’re built, and how to conjugate them in the past. You’ll also practice using them in real-life situations.
