Today, we’re diving into the world of clothing and shopping. By the end of this lesson, you’ll be able to shop for winter wear, summer outfits, or evening clothes — in-store or online — with no problem at all!

What do I wear to a wedding?

כשאני הולכת לחתונה אני לובשת בגדים יפים
When I go to a wedding, I wear nice clothes.

בדרך כלל, אני קונה שמלה ארוכה חדשה ואני שמה נעלי עקב
Usually, I buy a new long dress and I wear high heels.

אני תמיד מוסיפה שרשרת ועגילים יפים
I always add a necklace and pretty earrings.

אני רואה בישראל אנשים לובשים בגדים של יומיום בחתונה, אבל אני בוחרת להתלבש יפה
I see that in Israel, people often wear everyday clothes to weddings, but I choose to dress nicely.

What do I wear when I go to the beach?

כשאני הולכת לים אני לובשת בגד ים, כפכפים וכובע
When I go to the beach, I wear a swimsuit, flip-flops, and a hat.

אני תמיד שמה בתיק בגדים אחרים: תחתונים, חזיה, חולצה ומכנסיים קצרים
I always put other clothes in my bag: underwear, a bra, a shirt, and shorts

כי אני לא אוהבת לחזור הביתה עם בגד ים רטוב
because I don’t like going home in a wet swimsuit.
