Hebrew levels from Alef to Dalet — find your Hebrew level
Like every Ulpan in Israel, Integraliah organises its Hebrew courses by the letters of the Hebrew alphabet — Alef, Bet, Gimel and Dalet, with Alef+ in between. This level ladder mirrors the Hebrew proficiency scale used across Tel Aviv and by Misrad HaKlita, so the level you reach with us matches what employers, universities and voucher programs expect.
Which Hebrew level am I?
Complete beginner Hebrew (Alef) means learning to read the alphabet; false-beginner Hebrew (Alef+) means you know a few words but freeze in conversation; intermediate Hebrew (Bet) handles everyday exchanges; and advanced Hebrew (Gimel) reaches real fluency, up to the upper-advanced Dalet level. Unsure where you land? The free Hebrew level test places you in a few minutes.
One progression, three ways to learn
Every level is taught through self-paced video courses, live Zoom classes and the in-person Ulpan in Tel Aviv. Still hesitating between two levels? Contact me and we will confirm your starting point together.
