Bet — intermediate Hebrew for everyday conversation
The Bet level is where Hebrew starts working for you in real life in Tel Aviv and beyond — richer everyday conversation, the past tense in Hebrew and future forms, connectors, and the confidence to speak at work, at the bank and with neighbours. In the Ulpan ladder of Hebrew levels from Alef to Dalet, intermediate Hebrew (Bet) is the turning point for most olim, right after Alef+.
How to know you are at Bet
You hold everyday conversations, read without vowel marks (slowly) and use the present tense naturally. If that sounds like you, confirm it with the free Hebrew level test. Bet is also the prerequisite for our Medical Ulpan for healthcare professionals.
Where to study Bet
